AM + PM Tonics with Dangene & Dr. Paul

Have you ever been curious about seeing someone who combines the expertise of Eastern medicine, acupuncture, supplements, and herbs with the knowledge of today’s issues and the wisdom to approach them in the most compassionate way possible? Read on for our interview with Dangene, who decided to see Paul Kempisty MSTOM. L.Ac.—our resident specialist in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, Reiki, and Aromatherapy.

Q: I want you to describe your journey.
    A:

DANGENE: Paul had been working with Jennie (my wife) for a few months and upon Jennie’s recommendation to give the holistic health program a try, I took the trek downtown and had my first consultation and treatment.

Q: How did the meeting go?
    A:

PAUL: It was an amicable meeting and the treatment went well, but the travel and commitment didn't initially resonate with Dangene and so it was a few months before I saw her again. A little later, when Dangene felt the time to plunge in was right, we started with regular treatments and built a holistic protocol focused on acupuncture, herbs, and supplements that aimed to support Dangene's general constitution as well as addressing any health issues that came up along the way.

Q: What were the steps involved in designing your program?
    A:

DANGENE: We started by having a detailed discussion about my health history, my body’s strengths, places I can rely on as well as the areas that have presented challenges over the course of my life.

Q: Then what did you decide to do?
    A:

PAUL: Using a combination of Eastern health philosophy and modern scientific research, we then began introducing Dangene to a veritable arsenal of wellness. We observed what she responded to and went from there to create a very individualized protocol including high quality basic nutrients and vitamins, unusual and uncommon extracts with unique healing properties, and a special, freshly-brewed, ultra potent botanical potion to address her major goals.

Q: And what were those issues?
    A:

DANGENE: We addressed residual symptoms and pain from old injuries. We’ve promoted effective detox from a life of hard work and hard play (specifically an old shoulder injury).

Q: What else did you look at?
    A:

PAUL: We also balanced shifting hormonal changes associated with women's reproductive health. We've supported youthful appearance and beauty goals, and addressed all the colds, flus, and tummy aches that come along the way.
