Dangene’s Acid Wash

    Dangene’s Acid Wash

No, that hideous denim process hasn’t made a comeback! Dangene’s Acid Wash is composed of Trichloroacetic acid, or TCA. It is a powerful, versatile tool that can be used to treat a host of skin concerns and issues.

    HOW IT WORKS

TCA works by causing temporary trauma to the epidermis. The skin will have the appearance of a topical burn, and recovery time will vary depending on the treatment location. For the face, count on 7-10 days of downtime, with results visible in one week; for the body, 14-17 days of downtime, with results visible in two weeks; and for the legs, 21-25 days of downtime, with results visible in three weeks. You’ll notice visible changes after one treatment, but for optimal results, your Skinovator will design the most effective treatment program, particularly if you have specific goals or ailments.

    THE GORGEOUS RESULTS

With TCA, skin looks flawless, smoother, and refreshed. The treatment builds collagen and elastin to support the skin from the inside. Peels are customized for your needs, and TCA can address sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and the overall tone and texture of the skin.

    THE WONDERFUL BENEFITS

TCA removes signs of sun damage, such as brown spots. It lessens fine lines and wrinkles, and can even remove pre-cancerous cells, making it a preventative treatment.

    THE SCOOP

    • WHO: The treatment can only be performed on skin color types 1-3, meaning light Caucasian skin to dark Caucasian skin. It CANNOT be used on darker skin (African-American, Latino, Asian skin, etc.).
    • WHERE: TCA can be applied to the face, eye area, neck, chest, arms, hands, back, stomach, legs, and feet. In other words, it can be applied wherever you want to create the smooth, clear skin you dream of!
    • WHY: TCA is used to remove skin flaws. This includes sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, and acne scars. It may also be used to dramatically improve overall skin tone and texture.
    • WHEN: TCA can be used at any time of the year, but during winter, spring, and fall is best, as these are seasons when you are more likely to be fully covered and protected from the sun. Schedule TCA when you have plenty of downtime and no imminent plans for a tropical vacation, as no sun exposure is allowed! Also avoid planning TCA near major events, such as weddings or other high-visibility occasions.
