WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF BEING A SKINOVATOR?
The more intense and complicated the treatment, the more I love my job. Having met Dangene six years ago with an extremely severe case of acne and scarring, I naturally get the most enjoyment out of tackling the most complicated skin ailments. Whether it’s severe acne treatment, scar revision, extreme sun damage removal or performing a total skin overhaul, I feel most compelled to dramatically transform those seemingly impossible skin conditions as a way of paying it forward.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PART OF DANGENE'S SKINCARE PHILOSOPHY?
I love working with skin because of Dangene’s artistic and creative ideology and approach to treating skin conditions. As an actor, dancer, clothing designer/constructor and painter, I was drawn to this process of perfecting skin while getting to work with my hands to create my client’s dream skin. I find the creative process and progression of each treatment similar to the evolution of an incredible script or getting to see how each sweep of the paintbrush begins to come together as a beautiful work of art.
WHAT'S YOUR SKINCARE PHILOSOPHY?
After all, we are creations – works of art! I’ve decided the reason for going through whatever it is we go through is so that we can take the knowledge we acquire through our experiences and figure out some way to use that knowledge to improve the lives of the people around us and the world as a whole. That’s why I needed to learn how to transform skin—to use what I’ve learned to help people that are now going through what I had to go through, and are now feeling how I used to feel. We are all here to help each other.
